silt fence; 400 meter 1,800 mm temporary culvert pipe; 3,000 cu meter
watering for dust control; 65 ha clearing & grubbing; 1,000 meter fence
removal; 307,000 cu meter excavation & embankment; 30,000 meter roadway
obliteration; 2,000 meter lined ditch; 700 sq meter gabion faced MSE
wall; 1,000 ton minor crushed aggregate; 105,000 ton hot open graded
asphalt concrete pavement; 280 ton asphalt prime coat; 60 cu meter
structural concrete; 3,940 kg reinforcing steel; 73.2 meter post & beam
bridge railing; 39 meter thrie beam bridge railing; 12 ea concrete
headwalls; 3,211 meter 600 mm culvert; 481 meter 3,470 mm x 2,220 mm
culvert; 1,557 meter underdrain; 2,736 meter guardrail; 42 ea guardrail
terminal sections; 25,208 meter fence; 45 ha placing conserved topsoil;
450 slurry units turf establishment; 20 sq meter permanent traffic
control devices; 165,000 meter permanent pavement markings; 100 sq
meter signs; 4,000 flagger hrs; 1,000 pilot car hrs; and other smaller
items of work. Project is located approximately 18.5 km SW of Council,
Idaho. Work shall be completed by November 2001. Estimated price range
is between $7.5 million and $12 million. Presolicitation Notices are
being provided to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently with

The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital
financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and

Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable.
