The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for design, hardware and software development, fabrication, installation and maintenance support for various programs and laboratory facilities within the Avionics Department, Systems Integration Branch. The programs that will be supported include the VH Executive Transport Program, Satellite Navigation based systems, Wearable Computer based systems, Avionics Systems Integration Projects and other related programs that may evolve during the course of the contract. The laboratory facilities that will be supported include the VH Laboratory, System Integration Laboratory, Wearable Computer Laboratory and other laboratories as necessary. The required tasking is comprised of (1) Avionics and Support Equipment Development and Fabrication; (2) Facilities Development and Maintenance; (3) Avionics Testing and Repair; (4) Documentation Control; and (5) Program Management. The period of performance shall include a base year and four (4) one year option periods. This effort will be performed both on-site and off-site. The estimated level of effort is 428,160 man-hours including all options. A Department of Defense Secret Facility clearance and Secret level of safeguarding is required to perform this effort.
