Perform pot hole repair and spot leveling, apply a one inch (1") overlay of hot bituminous pavement, and apply hot spray paint pavement markings on three sections of the Natchez Trace Parkway, a unit of the National Park Service. Section one is located approximately 10 miles north of Jackson, Mississippi, and runs from milepost 109.0 north to milepost 134.9, crossing through Madison and Leake counties. This 25.9-mile section will receive pot hole repair, leveling, overlay, and pavement marking. Section two is located near Cherokee, Alabama, and runs from milepost 319.5 north to milepost 391.4, crossing through Colbert and Lauderdale counties. This 71.9-mile section will receive pavement markings only. Section three is located approximately 15 miles west of Columbia, Tennessee, and runs from milepost 407.9 north to milepost 415.7, crossing through Hickman and Maury counties. This 7.8-mile section will receive pavement markings only. Contract award is anticipated to occur in time for performance to beginin late summer (1999), and all work shall be concluded within 120 days of the start date.
