The National Library of Medicine (NLM) requires technical support for the operation and maintenance of audio, video, multimedia, and projection systems within its Lister Hill Center's Auditorium, laboratories, and production and post-production facilities, as well as any other NLM conference rooms, public rooms and classrooms. Additionally, support is required for the operation and maintenance of NLM's broadband video communications network and media asset management and distribution system. This includes maintenance of all modulators, demodulators, RF and baseband distribution equipment, and modifications and extensions to these systems. It is anticipated that a five-year, cost-reimbursement type contract will be awarded. RFP NLM 99-104/VMS will be available in electronic format only. Paper copies will not be issued.
