This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) _ 99T0234. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.5. This is a small-business set aside. The standard industrial classification code is 1771 and the small business standard is $7 million. The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure, on a competitive basis, a non-personal service to include all parts, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform the operation of resurfacing a concrete entrance of approximately 900 square feet with Rohalith Variant Non-Skid Floor Coating System on exterior elevated walkway to include steps at building 5681 located at Bolling AFB, DC. Description of Requirement/ Statement of Work: Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with these specifications. Contractor shall conduct all work operations during normal duty hours, 7:15am to 4:00pm, Monday _ Friday. Contractor shall coordinate with the QAE MSgt Edwards at (202) 767-1257, prior to starting the work. Contractor shall comply with OSHA and local regulations. Contractor shall prepare floor by removing all existing paint by shotblast, grinding and/or scarification to allow proper bonding. Contractor shall prime surface with Rohalith #112 Primer/Sealer. The contractor shall measure the entire work area to ensure correct footage. Contractor shall repair spalled and cracked concrete with Rohalith #132 Industrial Resin. Contractor shall install Rohalith Variant Acrylic Resin at -/+ 1/8_, and broadcast non-skid aggregate. Contractor shall fill joint with Rohalith #171 Joint Filler. All hazardous materials associated with this contract to be used on Bolling AFB during the life of the contract shall be approved by the Hazmat Pharmacy through the QAE, MSgt Edwards.
