The service contract shall include the following: Preventative maintenance technical and scientific telephone support, loner/exchange service, repair the equipment within 5 days. Provide replacement of defective parts without cost to the government to include labor, credit time lost due to relocation of the laboratory and set up of new laboratory facilities. Automatically upgrade PHI software during the duration of the contract, as new software becomes available. Warrant that all equipment is free of defects and problems associated with the year 2000 problems and the equipment is in compliance with year 2000 readiness bulletin and send all performance information and all technical bulletins regarding a quadruple based dynamic SIMS system and AES system, released/published. It is the intent of the government to award this requirement on a sole source basis to Physical Electronics Inc, Eden Prairie, MN. Physical Electronics Inc is the OEM of the equipment.
