Siemens Electrocom, L.P. of Arlington, Texas This contract will cover continued development, fabrication, and testing of the Mail Cartridge System. Includes production engineering activities as well as functional, reliability, and safety improvements. Two pre-production systems, which include engineering for all production functions, will be developed, fabricated, and tested as part of this effort. The first pre-production unit will be installed and tested in the Integrated Processing Facility in Ft. Myers, Florida, and the second will be used by the contractor for in-house testing and analysis. A formal test will be conducted to assure the pre-production system meets all critical processing window and throughput requirements.
