SOURCES SOUGHT -- The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Statistics(BJS) publishes a large number of documents and spreadsheets annually. Lotus SmartSuite is used to create these publications and spreadsheets. BJS is seeking expert assistance in automating some of the processes in SmartSuite used to create these materials particularly the creation of ascii files from highly formatted documents and the creation of spreadsheets from statistical program output. Specific assistance is needed in modifying Lotus 1-2-3 macros in existing spreadsheets and in automation other recurring task, the contractor shall be required to document the solutions and instruct the BJS staff on their use and maintenance. All automation shall use Lotus Macros and/or LotusScript which will be consistent with the version of SmartSuite in use at BJS. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7389.
