Vestal, 913-684-1623, Contract Specialist; Nancy Carter, 913-684-1633, Contracting Officer Work includes but is not limited to: Furnish and install piers, poles, arms, controller, loops, conduit, wiring, signs, push buttons, and signal heads for a complete traffic signal installation for the intersection of Reynolds Avenue and Grant Avenue, for traffic as well as pedestrian signals to meet all current requirements of Kansas Department of Transportation as shown on the drawings. The existing traffic signal controller at intersections of Grant and Cody/Stimson and at Grant and Kansas are Eagle Signal No. EPAC-3000. The new controller shall be completely compatible and interchangeable with the existing controllers to allow a spare controller to be installed quickly in the event of controller failure. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This will be a firm fixed-price contract. This acquisition is unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. The size standard for a small business concern, including its affiliates, is average annual sales or receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years, not to exceed $7 million. The standard industrial code (SIC) for this acquisition is 1731. IFB is to be issued on or about 1 July 99. FY99 funds are not presently available for this project.
