A written solicitation will be issued upon request. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-99-Q-3FA5V8. This solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11 The standard industrial classification code is 3731 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, and competence to perform the following IAW specifications on the USCGC KANAWHA (WLR-75407): 1. Drydock the vessel. 2. Renew wasted metal. 3. Paint affected areas (internal and external) 4. Perform NDT and ultrasound testing. Performance period is June 1 18, 1999. Specifications to be provided on request. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
