Command (INSCOM) proposes to establish a 5-year Time and Materials
Requirements contract to provide data, analytical and technical support
for a program entitled "Project Globalwatch" in support of the Forces
Directorate at the US Army National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC).
This effort will involve the collection of data, analysis of data,
intelligence presentation and dissemination of studies that describe
both the current and future condition of a state's (or non-state's)
ground forces for a broad range of militarily-significant states and
non-states. This effort will focus on information and analysis
developed from multiple sources, and productivity increases achieved
through the utilization of advances in the electronic/digital analysis
and dissemination of information. A Draft solicitation has already
been provided to industry at the APBI conducted on 30 April 99. The
anticipated release date for the final RFP is on or about 27 May 1999.
