Work will be conducted under the direction of the Seattle District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to perform environmental restoration on Hamm Creek in the lower Duwamish River to restore important estuarine habitat. The project is located south of Seattle in unincorporated King County, on the Duwamish River, riverside of Highway 99. The work will consist of building a new channel with ponds, woody debris, large rocks, and other fish friendly features. It is anticipated the work will include use of the following equipment with operator: (a) Track Mounted Hydraulic Excavator with thumb, 32 foot reach: (b) Track Mounted Hydraulic Excavator with thumb, 27 foot reach, (c) Dozer, minimum 70 HP, 6-way tilt blade (d) 4-WD Articulated Wheel Loader, minimum 150 HP, minimum 4 CY Bucket (e) Dump Trucks with Pup, minimum 28 tons, (f) Dump trucks, 3-4 axle, 10-12 cubic yards.
