Herting The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation(PBGC) is seeking qualified professional services to manage and operate a centrally established Document Management Center under the Insurance Operations Department. The Contractor shall perform: processing of incoming participant mail: document preparation; scanning, indexing and verification; image (QA/AC); files and minor records management; support IOD's in-house fulfilment operations; and data entry services. The Contractor shall provide the management of contract operations and supervision of contract personnel. The Contractor must have been in the document management processing business for at least eight years and have experience and knowledge of scanning hardware and software products, the installation, implementation or integration support, or provided scanning services to government or private-sector clients. The period of performance for the base contract will be from October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000, with four one-year options for renewal at PBGC's discretion.
