Commission, Washington, DC 20507 has a requirement for an Internet
Service Provider. Solicitation No. 99-0022 will be issued. The
solicitation 99-0022 is unrestricted. Description of Internet Service:
The Internet Service Provider (ISP) must be capable of providing
Domain Name Service (DNS). The DNS must be established to provide WEB
traffic to the EEOC.Gov address hosted at the Government Printing
Office (GPO) and e-mail (SMTP) traffic to our EEOC.Gov address at the
EEOC Headquarters location. The ISP must be capable of providing
sufficient valid Internet addresses for all EEOC users (3000 nodes).
EEOC requires a 10-Mbps dedicated (non-shared) connection to the
Internet. EEOC also requires the following services/capabilities from
the ISP: OC-12 to OC-48 backbone network bandwidth; 24 x 7 Telephone
and E-mail Support; 24 x 7 Monitoring Customer circuit; Installation of
Onsite Cisco Router to Internet; Local Telephone circuit installation
10-Mbps; SNMP Monitoring for customer; and two (2) Day offsite training
for technical staff for four (4) people. The contractor's off-site
equipment shall have dedicatd power systems that are designed to limit
systems (catastrophic) failure or downtime. This equipment should also
be compatiable with CISCO Operating System version 11.0 and later as
well as industry standard routing protocols. Diagnostic testing is
required. The ISP must install and test the new 10-Mbps Internet
Service without any disruption to EEOC's existing Internet Service
1.544 Mbps. DATE OF DELIVERY: Twelve (12) months period with four (4)
options period not to exceed a total of sixty (60) months. PLACE OF
DELIVERY: EEOC Headquarters OIRM -- 1801 L Street, N.W., Washington, DC
20507. The service will be provided to EEOC Headquarters and EEOC's
District Offices. The Government will award a contract/order resulting
from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer
conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the
Government, price and other factors considered. Due Date for proposal
is 15 days after issuance of solicitation 99-0022. All responsible
source may submit a proposal which shall be considered by EEOC. Request
for copies of the solicitation should be received by EEOC from date of
Publication of this synopsis in the Commerce Business Daily.
Solicitation availability is limited and will be furnished on first
received, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Telephone
