cID=1122. E-MAIL: Gail Hamblet, hamblet@plk.af.mil. The Air Force
Research Laboratory's Space Vehicles Directorate is requesting
technical and cost information for digital signal processors
functionally equivalent to the ADSP-21020 that are radiation tolerant.
The same information is requested for associated circuit boards that
are radiation tolerant and/or targeted for military satellite
communication (MILSATCOM) upgrades. The technical documentation should
include data sheets, package pinout footprint, package materials,
product layout with dimensions, performance characterization data, and
year 2000 compliance information. Cost information for 20 lidded and
20 de-lidded processors and/or 5 boards should include availability,
price, and price reduction for shared test data if applicable. These
parts are to be used for radiation hardness testing and evaluation for
several Air Force system program offices who plan to fly one version
of this processor or circuit board in satellites for the Space Based
Infrared System, MILSATCOM, and various classified programs. Foreign
owned firms are advised that there are no restrictions or Department of
Defense certifications required in order to submit the requested
information. It is anticipated that these efforts will be unclassified.
The technical point of contact is Steven Sampson at AFRL/VSSE telephone

parties should submit the requested information to Gail Hamblet,
Contracting Officer, telephone 505/846-1401 or electronic mail to
