In order for the Government to maintain readiness and sustainability, NSN 1650-01-263-1603 has been identified as a Surge item. This solicitation is to establish the pre-positioning of critical long lead time subassemblies for NSN 1650-010-263-1603 to reduce Production Lead Time. The contractor will be responsible for procuring three subassemblies relating to this NSN. After the subassemblies have been procured, the contractor will be responsible for storage of the assemblies as Government Owned Property. The quantity of each subassembly will be 75 each. Delivery for the subassemblies will be 20 weeks ARO. At the time distribution of the end item is required, an order will be issued to allow the contractor to complete the end item. The delivery for the end item will be 10 weeks ARO. The solicitation will contain a base year and four option years.The base year will be to procure the three subassemblies. The option years will be for storage of the subassemblies. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
