Concerns having the ability for providing a community correctional facility for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and medical services, training opportunities, and treatment to include furnishing subsistence, and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of facility shall be in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Estimated number of inmate days for CCC services is 36,500 for a two-year base period and 20,075 for option years one, two and three, respectively. Estimated number of inmates for TDAT services is 75 and shall include the following: intake assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (48 half hour sessions per inmate), and group counseling (72 half hour sessions per inmate) for a two-year base period and three one-year options, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a May 28, 1999. Estimated closing date is o/a July 29, 1999. Contract base period is two years and three one-year options to renew.
