Purpose of this announcement is to convert 11 Radar Control Units (RCUs) applicable to the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) aircraft by replacing 11 Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) with one commercial off-the-self SRU. Conversion of the RCU includes, but is not limited to, the acquisition of new conversion parts and retention of usable parts from the Production RCU. Performing integration and testing of the converted RCUs by using the Production Program's authenticated acceptance test procedures. Produce record Time Compliance Technical Order and perform retrofit installation and testing of new configuration into the fielded system. Support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources program to include identification of critical SRU needed to support and sustain the fielded system. Provide Program and Data Management services.
