54 -- USED OIL STORAGE TANKS SOL na DUE 052199 POC Gloria Rinal, 615-313-2655 or CPT Sammy Beard at 615-313-2650 The USPFO for Tennessee has a requirement for 20 each storage tanks to store bulk used motor oil. The tanks must be able to hold at least 500 gallons of liquid, but no more than 660 gallons. Must be no higher than 72 inches (to the top of the pouring funnel) and the dimensions not greater than 80 inches. Must be a type specifically designed to hold bulk petroleum (cylindrical shape preferred). Designed specially to be kept outside, and meet the Underwriters' Laboratories Code (ULC) for above ground storage tanks. Must be corrosion resistant steel of at least 12 guage and have at least two coats of protective coating with a minimum of 6 mils of epoxy on all exterior portions of the tanks. Must have an integral lockable pouring funnel that is rainproof. Must have attached steps of galvanized steel that reach within at least 40 inches of the top of the pouring funnel. Steps must have a tread of at least 12 inches and a rise of no more than 9 inches. Must have an integral tank liner. Be vented and allow for overfill. Must have liquid level gauge. These storage tanks are to be delivered to 19 locations across the state of Tennessee and 1 location in Ft. Campbell, KY.
