Center Puget Sound has a base year requirement for the following
circuit boards to be used in the MK46 torpedo: 1) Printed Wiring
Assembly, Pitch Maneuver, A6A24, 96 EA; 2) Printed Wiring Assembly, CMI
A6A22, 96 EA; 3) Printed Wiring Assembly, IA/IT A6A23, 96 EA; 4)
Printed Wiring Assembly, C3 A6A18, 96 EA; 5) Sequence Generator
Assembly, A6A15, 36 EA; and 6) Bandpass Filter per drawing 3235608, 80
EA. The printed wiring assemblies will be used to upgrade MK46 Mod
5(a) Control Groups to the Mod 5A(SW) or SLEP configuration. The
Bandpass Filters are used to upgrade MK46 Mod 5(S) receivers. The
solicitation will include options up to 100% of the base quantity for
four option years. Option 1 will be exercised within 365 days after
contract award, option 2 will be exercised within 730 days after
contract award, option 3 will be exercised within 1095 days after
award, and option 4 will be exercised within 1460 days after contract
award. The acquisition will be solicited on a sole source basis to
Raytheon Systems Company, 6500 Harbour Heights Parkway, Mukilteo, WA
98275. Raytheon possesses the proprietary electronic printed circuit
board artwork files and process documentation required to manufacture
the items. The RFP will be issued on or about 14 May 99 with a 30 day
closing. All responsible sources may submit offer/bid which shall be
considered by FISC Puget Sound. Telephone requests will not be
