Work to be performed under this solicitation consists of preparation and painting interior surfaces of buildings and offices at U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, and materials to complete the work required by this contract. The work required under this contract includes washing, degreasing, cleaning, filling, sanding, scraping, feathering, and other requirements necessary to prepare the surfaces upon which protective coatings will be applied. Surfaces to be prepared and painted include metal, wood, masonry and drywall. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, coatings and paints required by this contract. Upon completion of work, the contractor shall remove and dispose of all remaining materials in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. Work to be accomplished at the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center, Mobile, AL. This Coast Guard Activity is located at the north side of Mobile Regional Airport, accessible by way of Tanner Williams Road. This project falls within a designated industry group subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is unrestricted due to its anticipated dollar value. For this acquisition the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1721 and the Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. The term of the Contract will be One-Year (365 calendar days) from the date of Contract award. The Government reserves the option to extend the Contract for an additional two One-year (365 calendar day) periods.
