The U.S.Military Academy, West Point,N Y is seeking possible sources for the removal of two (2) Blaw-Knox soot blower control systems, and replace with one (1) Bergemann PLC Based Control System, or equal, located in the USMA Power Plant, Building 604, West Point, N Y. Currently, one soot blower is located in each of two (2) Keeler boilers built in 1967, NB4313 and 1968, NB4312. Each boiler has a maximun steam output of 150,000 lb per hour, at 160 PSI and 427 egrees Fahrenheit. The basic control system will be supplied complete with the following: * NEMA 12 insert type enclosure complete terminal strip. * Operator interface software * Related hardware for complete installation. Please note that this a Source Sought notice; therefore, no solicitation is available at this time. Any information submitted is voluntary. Interested companies are encouraged to respond to this notice providing a brief summary of their capabilities and their expected ability to meet the requirements above. Companies are invited to submit a written brief scope of work with an estimated budgetary figure. A brief listing of materials and equipment for the requirement is strongly encouraged.
