Under Statutory Authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) (FAR 6.302-1), CBC Gulfport anticipates entering into a sole source procurement with AEPCO, for PWTools Software Package, Installation and training for ten personnel at CBC Gulfport, MS. The above authority is cited and justification is made based on the determination that the government's minimum needs can best be met by one source. This purchase meets government's minimum needs of providing upgrade software to the existing Public Works Maintenance computer system. The proposed sole source contractor is AEPCO, 15800 Crabbs Branch Way, Rockville, MD. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by identifying themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer, and provide supporting evidence that you can meet these needs to the Contracting Officer with fifteen (15) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. Information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solelyfor the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
