The Maritime Administration intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to DASSE Design, Inc. to conduct a seismic evaluation in accordance with Executive Order 12941 of select existing buildings located at the US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point New York. The scope of engineering services requires the work to be conducted in two phases. Phase I shall include four tasks which are to be performed on approximately 22 buildings determined by the Maritime Administration to be non-exempted. Phase II shall include seven tasks which are to be performed on approximately six of the buildings, identified in Phase I. All tasks are clearly identified in the statement of work. All firms who posses the knowledge and believe they are capable of performing the described work are encourage to request a copy of the statement of work and submit a price quotation at the designated address by close of business April 29, 1999.
