The Maritime Administration is seeks a qualified source capable of providing full support as the manager of a Fleet-wide Shipboard Water Chemistry Program. Said program would encompass the following majot componenets: feed-water treatment for: propulsion boilers, auxiliary fired boilers, waste heat boilers; diesel engine coolant treatment; evaporation/distiller treatment; salt-water treatment and scale removal. Qualified source must be capable of providing all chemicals, laboratory test/analysis services; shipboard training, shipboard test kits, logbooks and manuals. Qualified sources should have the capability to track/monitor (internet/intranet) on-line orders, invoices, service calls, test/anaylsis results and generate reports. Services must be available 24 hours a day to support vessels assigned to the Ready Reserve Force, National Defense Reserve Fleet, and any other vessel in which Martitime Administration maintains an interest. Qualified sources must have a proven background of providing services of the type identifiedto the commercial marine industry.
