The Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center is seeking bids for the construction of an (approximately 1,600 SF) to our Wellness Center to relocate our HOT classrom. Sealed Bids will be accepted until May 7, 1999 until 1:30 PM CDT. Any bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. A pre-bid conference will be held April 23, 1999, 1:30 PM CDT at the Burdick Job Corps Center. Proposal shall be on proposal forms furnished for that purpose. Each bid must contain a Bidder's Bond equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this State, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted, and the contract awarded within 10 days after notice of award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of this bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing board. The right to retain the deposit for the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days from the opening date is hereby reserved. The deposit of the other unsuccessful bidders will be returned within a period of ten days after the bid opening. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as provided by North Dakota Century Code, Section 43-07-05; and no bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately.
