The 15th Contracting Squadron has a requirement to provide training to youth program staff at eight PACAF bases: Anderson AFB, Guam; Eielson AFB, AK; Elmendorf AFB, AK; Yokota AB, Japan; Kadena AB, Japan; Misawa AB, Japan; Hickam AFB, HI; and Osan AB, Korea. Ten (10) hours of on-site training per base with the goal of increasing staff cohesion, skill, and effectiveness and to help the staff implement/conduct quality youth support programs. Instruction to the staff must be based on the requirements of paragraph 1.2.6 of Air Force Instruction 35-801. Instructor must be knowledgeable of military communities and youth programs with experience designing and conducting educational and consultative training for Air Force family members. Instructor must have experience in providing individual and small group consultation/coaching and staff development, program design, management, and implementation for a comprehensive range of family member programming to include transition and relocation, job search/career choices, self-esteem/development and communication/conflict resolution.
