The contractor shall also be required to provide additional years of effort in FY01 and FY02 at the Government's option. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Defense Systems (GDDS), Pittsfield, MA. GDDS is the sole manufacturer of the FBM fire control system and the only source with the in-depth knowledge and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
