The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Gaithersburg, MD, has a requirement for the replacement of chilled water and steam preheat coils for six (6) air conditioning units. The work will also include replacement of associated piping, insulation, valves and fittings. Asbestos will be removed by the Government prior to this work. All work shall be completed within a six-month period of performance and all shutdown work shall be completed during a 14-day period per unit. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business, SIC code 1542, size standard $17M. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
