The Government intends to purchase on a sole source all or none basis the following items manufactured by Wind River Systems Inc.: (1) Additional PowerPC Processor Architecture for ACTS Tornado Dev Lic (3 each); (2) Annual support and maintenance for additional PowerPC Processor Architecture (3 each). Annual support and maintenance shall consist of all upgrades, updates and unlimited telephone technical support. The requested equipment and application software will be used to support the AEGIS Combat Training System (ACTS) Rehost Technology Refresh at the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC). NSWCDD will provide lifecycle support for the ACTS Rehost computer programs applications hosted on AEGIS class Cruisers and Destroyers. Lifecycle support includes maintaining, updating, delivering and installing the AEGIS computer programs. The above items must be completely compatible with Government owned Wind River equipment and application software being utilized by the AEGIS fleet to ensure the ACC can support its lifecycle support engineering mission and deliver quality AEGIS computer programs to the fleet. All above items must be y2k compliant. Written documentation addressing this issue must be provided with the contractor's faxed quote. This contract shall be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All vendors must provide written documentation authorizing them to quote on Wind River Systems items. All vendors must provide their license/support agreements.
