Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is seeking sources for
commercially available buoy systems for submarine use. Candidate buoys
should be capable of being used in "cast and drift" operation vice
towed. Also, they must be recoverable and include a fiber optic tether
for link back to the submarine. The ideal buoy system would include
either a communications or electronic surveillance capability or could
be reconfigured for U.S Navy specific payload. The maximum acceptable
