54 -- COMMERCIAL ITEM ACQUISITION OF THREE MODULAR OFFICE BUILDINGS SOL FS-WOC-99-438 DUE 041299 POC Julia B. Two buildings will be delivered to the Bienville Ranger District, Forest, M, Scott County. One building will be delivered to the Homochitto Ranger District, Bude, MS, Franklin County, MS. The modular office facilities shall provide floor plans similar to that shown on the drawings. The following general specifications apply: Carrier/Floor System-Frame: 12" I-Beam or approved equal; Undercarriage-returnable; Hitch-removable; Axles-as required to safely transport the units; Leveling Jack-required; Joists-2x8 SYP; Insulation-R-19 faced fiberglass batts; Decking-3/4" T&G Plywood; Carpet-Commercial grade 26 oz. min. Required for all floor areas except restroom; Tile-1/8" 12"x12"Congoleum. Required in restroom only; Base Trim-4" Vinyl. Interior & Exterior Walls the following apply: Studs-2x4 -- 16" O.C.; Exterior Insulation-R-13 faced fiberglass batts for sound deadening; Exterior Siding-provide samples of available materials; Skirting-Vented with access panel; Wall Panel-1//2" Gypsum Board. The following apply to Roof/Ceiling: Framing-2x8 SYP -- 16" O.C.; Ceiling-Suspended Armstrong Accoustic 2x4; Insulation-R-30 faced fiberglass batts; Sheathing-1/2" plywood; Roofing-Provide samples of available materials. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all applicable state and local permits. Specifications, Doors/Windows: Exterior Doors-20 Ga. steel with 16 Ga. welded steel frame; hardware-privacy Lock #8702FL by Yale; Cylinder-#1152 furnished by the Forest Service; Closers-Required. Interior Doors: Prefinished Solic Core: hardware-Lever/Lever; Lockset-Bathroom Type Privacy Locks, Passage latch only for closet door; Closers-Not required; Stops-Required where needed. Windows: Single Hung Double Glass, Insulated: Size-3'x4'; Blinds-Mini Blinds required for all windows; Glazing-Clear. Electrical specifications: Service-1 P/3 wire 120/240V 60 HZ. Conduit only required to Panel Box; Forest Service shall be responsible for connection of all utilities to the building; Panel-Sized to meet electrical code requirements; Wiring-EMT conduit with #12 awg minimum wire size; Receptables-4 required per office, 1 GFCI required in restroom and exterior; Lighting-4 tube recessed fluorescent, one per offece; Bath lighting-Incandescent with exhaust fan (Homochitto location only); Exterior lighting-Vandal proof, high impact, 60W waterproof; Other-1 additional 4/3" empty conduit and box for each office. HAAAVAC Specifications: Bienville-All electric; Homochitto-propane heqat with electric AC; Systems sized according to code (supply detailed information with proposal for evaluation). Plumbing Specifications (Homochitto location only): Inlet-3/4" cu or pvc; Shutoffs-required at all fixtures; Water Heater- 5 gal. minimum; Lavatory-Wall hung, Vitreous, 19"x17"; Faucet-Delta single lever with brass stem; Toilet-Adult Handicapped Accessible with elongated open front seat; Grab Bars- Two ADA Spec bars around commode; Mirror-18"x20" SS Frame above lavatory. Contract time is 60 calendar days for both buildings at Bienville RD and 60 calendar days for the building at homochitto RD.
