(i)Bighorn Canyon, National Recreation Area is soliciting requests for proposals from qualified dealers/suppliers to provide two floating comfort stations/docks to be attached to existing floating dock systems to be located at boat-in campgrounds.!!(ii)This solicitation is considered a Commercial Item contract and FAR Part 12 Commercial Item Contract with Firm Fixed Price will apply.!!(iii)This is considered a full and open competitive procurment from qualified dealers/suppliers under SIC 4493 Marinas.!! (iv) The Prime contractor shall be a dock manufacture with a minimum of 20 years experience constructing docks with structures on them.!!(v)The prefabricated restroom supplier shall have at least two years of experience in prefabricating restroom buildings of the SST design.!! (vi) The waste vault fabricator shall have at least five years of experience in fabricating double wall structures of specified materials.!!(vii) There will be (3) line items: Clin #0001 -- Floating Comfort Station, with two user compartments, and two vaults located at Medicine Creek Campground in Montana but accessed through Lovell, Wyoming.!! (viii)Clin #0002 -- Floating Comfort Station with two user compartments and two vaults located at Black Canyon Campground in Montana, accessed through Fort Smith, Montana.!! (ix)Clin #0003 -- Will be an Optional Item for one additional Floating Comfort Station to be delivered to the same site as Clin #0002. Exercise of Optional Items with be dependent on available funds at time of award.!! (x) Solicitation packages with specifications and drawings will be made available by request on or about April 7, 1999. The bids must be received in this office within 30 days after the specifications have been made available. Award will be made within 10 days of the bid opening.!! (xi)In compliance with Commerical Item Contracting three options for delivery will be available: 1)Government preferred delivery; 2)Governments required delivery; 3) Offerors proposed delivery.!!
