TEST AND DIAGNOSTICS CONSORTIUM OPEN MEETING Test and Diagnostics Consortium Open Meeting The Test and Diagnostics Consortium (TDC) will hold an open meeting for all interested parties involved with Test and Diagnostics applications. The purpose of the meeting is to determine the direction, organization, and activities of this new consortium. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the early stages of TDC development so that it may be of greatest benefit to all members. Industries and companies which are significant users of test and diagnostics equipment have formed the TDC to bring together suppliers and users in a mutually beneficial forum. During the initial planning process, representatives from the commercial airlines, trucking, railroad, satellite, and various government organizations have laid the foundation for this organization. The intent of the TDC is to provide a wide range of benefits including: lowered cost of doing business; expanded market base; improved communication between users and suppliers; opportunity for establishing strategic alliances with antitrust protection; and leveraging research and development projects to mutual benefit. The open meeting will take place in Orlando, Florida at the Sheraton Orlando North hotel on April 8, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The meeting is no-fee; however, pre-registration by March 25 is requested.
