Scope of work includes retrofitting existing fluorescent lighting fixtures by replacing existing T12, 40 W lamps and magnetic type ballasts with new, government furnished T8, 32 W lamps and electronic type ballasts. The existing light fixtures shall be cleaned and reused. The work consist of courtrooms located on floors 17 through 27. Courtroom ceilings are 18 feet above finished floor. All work shall be done after normal business hours. This work will be performed at the EMD Federal Building, 219 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demostration Program. The Standard Industrialization Code (SIC) is 1731 with a size standard of $7 million. The cost range is estimated between $250,000 -- $500,000.
