1741 -- Provide all material and labor required to perform Masonry
Restoration at the Carl Albert Federal Building/Courthouse in
McAlester, Oklahoma. Work includes some lead paint abatement, as
identified in the drawings and will require the proper disposal of the
material (lead-based) in approved containers in accordance with EPA,
DOT, and OSHA procedures and coordination with the Oklahoma Department
of Environmental Quality (ODEQ). Other work items will be performed as
mentioned in the specifications and drawings. Estimated cost range is
$100,000 to $250,000. Project No. is ROK96035 and Solicitation No.
GS-07P-99-UDC-0003. Solicitation documents will be available for
downloading from the internet on or about April 1, 1999. Bid opening
will be on or about May 25, 1999. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held
about May 25, 1999, the exact place and time will be shown as a part of
the solicitation. All responsible sources will be considered. The
solicitation, including drawings, and any documentsrelated to the
procurement will be available on the Internet. All contractors
downloading the solicitation shall notify this office, in writing, via
facsimile to: Steven F. Clark, at 817/978-2577. A plan holders list
will be compiled from these facsimiles. Contractors are responsible for
downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any.
These documents will be in PDF format and will reside on a World Wide
Web (www) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser
application. The WWW address of the General Services Administration
page is http://eps.arnet.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to
monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments,
if any. Contractors can also register to be notified by e-mail of new
postings, including future synopsis, solicitations, and amendments.
