Wright, 202-314-7851 The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has
identified a requirement for animated video graphics production for a
special exhibition on the Polish refugee experience via the
trans-Siberian railroad. The contractor must provide all labor,
materials, equipment, travel and facilities to produce two (2) animated
video productions that will be integrated into the exhibition as an
interpretive element demonstrating geopolitical changes and movement of
refugees populations in Europe and Asia between 1939 and 1941. The
programs shall be approximately 1 1/12 minutes each, will include
caption text, and must be visually consistent with the overall
exhibition design. The Contractor shall be required to script, design,
direct, edit and master the two required programs in close
consultation with USHMM exhibitions staff. The contractor must have
experience designing and producing interpretive animated graphics and
maps. While the USHMM shall provide base map artwork and the historical
points required in both programs, knowledge of the geopolitical history
during World War II as related to the events of the Holocaust is
desired. Complete production-ready work shall be delivered to the USHMM
on Betacam SP format no later than February 25, 2000. Posted 03/16/99
