Concerns having the ability for providing a Comprehensive Sanction
Center Facility for female federal offenders. Those interested are
requested to give written notification (including telephone number and
a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice.
Services required include care, custody, control, accountability,
training opportunities and treatment, to inlcude furnishing of
subsistance and medical services, except the expenseof hospital,
surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described
shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of
Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Washington, DC area. An
estimated number of inmate days are 36,550 for the base period, 18,250
inmate days for option year one, 18,300 inmate days for option year
two, and 18,000 inmate days for option year three, (100% female).
Estimated RFP issue date is April 16, 1999, estimated closing date is
June 15, 1999. Contract base period is two years with three one-year
option years to renew. A requirements contract is anicipated. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
