Layout of cutting unit boundaries. Traverse thoses boundaries with acceptable GPS equipment. Mark and cruise timber according to the directions set forth in the Silvicultural Prescription (Rx). Sawlog size material (at least 10" dbh with a 6" dib at 10') will be marked seperately from the Biomass material (4" -- 9.9" dbh). Sawlog size timber will be marked with Govt. supplied tracer tree marking paint. Biomass will be cruised only. Boundary will be designated on the ground with flagging, signs, tags and tree marking paint. Approximate acreage for the project is 1598 acres on 25 cutting units.
