The National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), intends to negotiate with United Information Systems, Inc. for an 18 month extension on contract number N02-CO-40505, ADP Support Services for Cancer Information Dissemination. The contractor will continue to run the International Cancer Information Center (ICIC) data center and provide analysis, programming and production support for the maintenance and delivery of ICIC products and services. This 18 month extension is needed in order for NCI to take into consideration the technical requirements that are evolving out of the NCI's initiative to redesign and restructure PDQ to take advantage of new technology. This will also enable the Government to better define its needs for the continuation of these services beyond this extended period on a competitive basis.
