B -- HERITAGE INVENTORIES -- PACTOLA/HARNEY RANGER DISTRICT SOL RFQ RMAST-99-059 DUE 042099 POC Brenda Oster 605/673-2251, Wayne Kewley, Contracting Officer Purpose of this inventory is to identify, record, and evaluate for the National Register of Historic Places, all historic and all prehistoric properties within the inventory areas. Data derived from this project will be used for compliance with the requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act as amended, and the Archeological Resources Protection Act as amended pertaining to potential effects on heritage resources. Project has approximately 8,811 acres to survey. This solicitation requires a technical and cost proposal. The technical proposal will be evaluated in accordance with the following factors; 1) technical approach, 2) past performance 3) experience, and 4) cost. Project is located in Pennington and Custer Counties, SD, Black Hills National Forest. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
