writing, editorial and design services in support of various Defense
Contract Management Command (DCMC) Marketing Products. Writing services
include writing articles for the DCMC Communicator, which is a
quarterly technical journal with a worldwide audience of 15,000 to
include DCMC employees, and DOD program managers and procurement
contracting officers. Articles will vary in length, but generally
should run between 1,500 and 3,000 words. Other writing services
include supplying "ghost written" (non-authored) articles to be
published in outside publications, writing brochures, fact sheets, and
other marketing-related items. Editorial services include editing
articles written by technical subject matter experts in the Command.
The draft articles will be in a variety of forms including outlines,
briefing charts, and rough drafts articles; from this material, the
contractor shall write articles, brochures, fact sheets and other
promotional materials. Design services include designing and laying out
the DCMC Communicator (two color quarterly technical publication), and
a variety of marketing products (e.g., brochures, folders, fact sheets
and posters). Design shall be progressive, cutting-edge, and based on
innovation, freshness, strength, vibrancy, and intelligence. Sources
must show experience in editing, writing and designing a variety of
marketing products including, but not limit to, technical articles, a
two-color technical journal published at least quarterly and at least
12 pages in length, and two -- and four-color brochures. The marketing
products must show innovative, cutting edge, exciting, clever design.
Sources are encouraged to submit samples of their work, a list of
client references, resumes of people who work on the project, and make
