93 -- PAPER (STOCK ROLL) SOL 1PI-R-1287-99 DUE 032999 POC Annette Johnson, Contracting Officer, (202) 305-7280 UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements Type Contract for a Period of one (1) year with one (1) year option period if exercised. This contract is for Paper (Sheet and Roll Stock). The paper used in this contract should be recycled. If you cannot provide recycled, indicate "virgin" beside the line item. Award will be made on recycled paper first. Minimum Post Consumer Waste Content is 50% Wastepaper content with 10% Post Consumer Waste. This is subject to change in accordance with the White House Executive Order #12873. Recycled paper should have 50% recycled paper with 20% Post Consumer Waste. The roll stock on this contract will run on a Harris 500M 17" and 22" Press with Maximum Achievable speeds of up to 1,000 FPM. Roll Core requirements shall be 3" inside diameter, disposable but crush resistant. Outside Diameter roll requirement are 40" on Roll Stock. Upon shipment, double packed rolls will not be accepted. Each roll needs to be individually wrapped with a proper protective covering to avoid damage to the paper and lying flat on disposable wooden skids. Non-compliance of the above may result in the material being returning to the vendor for corrective action. A certificate of conformance must be provided for each shipment in connection with this contract. Shipments will be due ten (10) days after issuance of each delivery order. Note: This will be an "ALL or NONE" proposal. All deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination to USP Leavenworth (which shall include transportation changes).
