This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. DTCG40-99-Q-50002. This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-09. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The SIC code for this acquisition is 7389, size standard is 5.0 million. This acquisition is for a firm-fixed price for: Services of a Contractor to Ultra High Pressure Water Blast in accordance with Statement of Work for Ultra High Pressure Water Jet Blasting of the Freeboard Surfaces. These services will be performed on Coast Guard Cutters Vigorous and Reliance. Both cutters will require the same services; however, services will be performed on different dates. Cutter #1 (Vigorous) schedule is anticipated to be on or about April 7, 1999. Cutter #2 (Reliance) schedule is anticipated to be on or about May 5, 1999.
