The United States Secret Servie (USSS) proposes to solicit request for
proposal (RFP) USSS990005 for development of high-quality, specialized
law enforcement training materials in video and text format on CD ROM.
The requirement is a 100% small business set aside under SIC 7812,
size standard $5 million. OFFERORS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED THIS
SOLICITATION AND HAVE CONTACTED THIS OFFICE TO CONFIRM THAT THEY ARE ON
THE SOLICITATION MAILING LIST DO NOT NEED TO RESPOND AGAIN TO THIS
NOTICE. All other interested offerors must request a copy of the RFP in
writing (telephone requests will not be honored); solicitation issuance
is currently scheduled for March 12, 1999. Proposals will be evaluated
on a best-value basis. The anticipated contract type is Indefinite
Delivery Indefinite Quantity. THE STATEMENT OF WORK AND EVALUATION
FACTORS PREVIOUSLY POSTED IN DRAFT HAVE BEEN UPDATED; DO NOT USE THESE
IN YOUR RESPONSE. Proposals shall be submitted by not later than April
9, 1999, 2 p.m. EST, to the U.S. Secret Service Procurement Division,
1310 L Street NW, Room 730, Washington, DC 20223, Attn: George
Robertson. A single award shall be made from the proposals received.
