This is Amendment No.1 for Electronic Control System for Bureau Elevators. This amendment is to clarify specifications and notification of the site visit date for this contract. The following is added to "Item No. 1 Minimum Specifications for elevator control system-The Electrical Control System for the Bureau of Engraving and Printings (BEP) elevators will be installed on #13 elevator located in the Annex on the 14th Street side" Add -- This elevator is part of duplex pair and as such will require after installation, the #13 elevator will have static drive, microprocessor, controls working in conjunction with #11 elevator relay logic, magnetic generator set. The following is added to "This control system will allow the operation of the elevator within the following specifications" Add -- q. replacement of the installed vane type positioning system will be replaced with a tape drive, slowing, stepping, and positioning system will be required. Add to Item 3 The installation of this equipment and testing should be completed within eight (8) weeks after receiving Electronic components from the manufacturer. Also add The contractor shall submit a schedule for project completion including delivery and installation of Electronic components.
