This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, USZA96-99-Q-0100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. This is a total small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 2399 and small business size standard is 500. There is one line item number and quantity of 700 each. "EUROLITE" NBC -- Special Forces Protection Suit or equal. Features: Two-Piece overgarment -- Jacket with integrated hood and gloves, Trousers with integrated (double-sole) overshoes.
