The 15th Contracting Squadron at Hickam AFB, HI is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential sources to perform the base operating support functions on Johnston Island located about 800 miles SW of Honolulu, HI in the Johnston Atoll. This requirement will cover a wide range of functions required to provide complete base operating support to installation customers while focusing on quality practices. The requirement includes the following major functions, which are subject to change: Management and Administration; Hazardous Waste Collection, Accumulation, Transportation and Disposal; Environmental, Safety and Health; Hazardous Material Control; Support to Others; Custodial Services; Grounds Maintenance; Pest Control; Utilities Management; Electrical Power Production; Auxiliary and Portable Engine-Generator Units; Electrical Distribution; Steam and Hot Water Heating Systems; Potable and Non-Potable Water Systems; Sewer System; Electronics, Automated Data processing (ADP) and Weather Systems; Transportation Vehicles and Equipment Operations and Maintenance; Solid Wastes Collection and Disposal; Medical Services; Supply; Food Services; Billeting; Maintenance and Operation of POL Systems; Crash and Fire Protection Services; Law Enforcement/Base Security; Morale, Welfare and Recreation Services; Engineering and Maintenance Control Services; Buildings and Structures Repair; Financial Tracking and Reporting; Air Terminal Operations; Personnel Support Services; Port and Harbor Services; and Stevedoring.
