McKay, (410) 762-6476 Potential Sources Sought: The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources that can provide various Escher Wyss Controllable Pitch Propeller Parts used in the support og the 270' WMEC, 378"WHEC, and 400' WAGB Coast Guard Cutters. Delivery to be made to U.S. Ocast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. This is a requirements type contract for the base year and four (4) option years is anticipated. It is the Governments belief that only Escher Wyss Propellers U.S. or their authorized licesned distributor, NW Propeler Operations Inc. can provide the parts. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to the Escher Wyss Propellers is not available within the Government and are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Escher Wyss Propellers or their authorized licensed distributor, NW Propeller Operations Inc. However, other potential sources having the expertise and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in duplicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of the offered parts: 1) Completeand current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics, or 2) Data that the offered parts ahve been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer.
