Wolfe, Jr., 304/285-5883 The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facility in Morgantown, WV is currently undergoing expansion and renovation. Johnson Control's fire alarm system components purchased under a Federal Supply Schedule contract have been used for the new facility and all renovations of the existing building to this point. Until all warranties on various portions of the system expire, the maintenance of the system should be performed by the equipment manufacturer, in order to ensure that all warranties are secured. NIOSH intends to accept the standard manufacturer's service agreement for Fiscal Year 1999. If there are vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet the stated requirements, including warranties, they are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures and references to Brenda L. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Johnson Controls, Pittsburgh, PA. Organizations may respond within 7 days after publication of this notice.
